STRANGER THINGS / Netflix
If someone were to tell me 5 years ago that Netflix would become one of the best places to see quality original programming I would have called bullshit….for sure. The reality we face today is the fact that Netflix is pretty damn amazing and plays host to some of the best TV shows I’ve seen in a long time. DAREDEVIL, JESSICA JONES, BLOODLINE, and MASTER OF NONE to just name a few. So yeah, when Netflix puts out a new original program, I pay attention.
The newest member in the Netflix family is STRANGER THINGS. It’s an 8-episode season set in the 80’s that just bleeds with Spielberg nostalgia with a little Carpenter creep, and a dash of GOONIES and E.T. for good measure. Basically, it looks awesome to anyone over 30. Luckily, that’s me. Check out the latest trailer.
Oh yeah this looks fun as hell and you can bet your bike riding, flashlight using, scared shitless ass that I’ll be tuning in on July 15th 2016 when STRANGER THINGS drops all 8 episodes. Do yourself a favor and add this to your list now to feel cool and stuff.
