Yes that’s right, grab you bat and red hat as ( MOTHER2 ギーグの逆襲 Mazā Tsū: Gīgu no Gyakushū ) or better know as EARTHBOUND in the America and Europe is heading your way!
Today the president of NINTENDO Satoru Iwata announced that Earthbound is coming to the Virtual Console sometime in 2013. Fans have been banning together for years to see another EARTHBOUND stateside. It may not be MOTHER 3 which was released in japan in 2006 for the GBA, but this is a huge victory for the Fans and for all gamers!
Directed by Shigesato Itoi, EARTHBOUND was released in 1994 in Japan and 1995 in North America and has become a massive cult hit over the years. This amazing RPG set in 199x follows the character Ness and friends on their misadventurers to save the world from the Evil Gyiyg! The game is filled with tones of fun pop culture, quirky dialog and one of the best SNES sound tracks ever! Composed by Hirokazu Tanaka (Metroid/Kid Icarus/Dr. Mario), Keiichi Suzuki of the Moonriders. But don’t let the Game fool you, there’s much more going on underneath… as it polarizes many of the dark events that were going on during the early 1990’s.
I highly recommend this game to anyone, this is a true gem of the SNES generation and I can easily give the game 11 out of 10.
