Recently, Developer CD POJEKT RED (THE WITCHER and THE WITCHER 2) released a teaser trailer of their new upcoming RPG CYBERPUNK 2077. I can’t tell you how excited I am for this! I freaking love cyberpunk whether it’s in Book form, Movies, or Games. I’ve been hungry for a new cyberpunk game since beating DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION. S0 when this game was announced last year I was like “O heck yes!”

Base on the pen and paper game Cyberpunk 2020 (1988) created by Mike Pondsmith, CYBERPUNK 2077 will be an open world game with a mature non liner story. It will feature different character classes and a large range of customization which will affect the story plot.
The trailer itself is a teaser trailer after all so the story is still pretty unclear at this point, but it does allow you to get a feel for the tone of the game. My only beef with the trailer is the song, to me it took me out of the video and just felt like a bad choice. Nonetheless this still doesn’t dampen how amazing this game can be. As of the moment, the release date is set for sometime in 2015 and has not been announced for any platform yet. All signs point to a next generation release for home consoles.
