Finally an official release date for THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: SKYWARD SWORD for the Nintendo Wii has been set for November 20th 2011. This is fantastic news for fans that were worried the title would get delayed until 2012. This also means we will all have some serious time to play this game during Thanksgiving break from work and school! The Legend of Zelda franchise is easily my favorite of all time and the release cannot come soon enough!
Earlier this year at the 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) there was an announcement of a golden Zelda-themed Wiimote that included Wii Motion Plus inside the controller itself. There have yet to be any official announcements as to the limited edition controller’s release date, price, or if it will be bundled with the game (at an additional cost of course). Wii Motion Plus is required to play this game so if you do not spring for the gold controller you must buy the add on separately. As soon as more details are announced I will make sure to post them here on NERD!
