It’s that time of year again folks. Time to announce a new game in the insanely popular CALL OF DUTY franchise. Infinity Ward kicked things off this generation with GHOSTS, it was then Sledgehammer’s turn with ADVANCED WARFARE, and most recently Treyarch gave us BLACK OPS III. Now that everyone got their turn, we circle back to Infinity Ward with INFINITE WARFARE.
The trailer above gives us a lot of insight on what to expect. And just as I was getting sick of this series, they had to go and make is a sic-fi epic! Dammit that’s my weakness! I’m a complete sucker for sci-fi and alien invasions. Having this theme in a CALL OF DUTY game is extremely fresh and really is an exciting new direction. So yeah, I’ll likely get this game now that I know it’s not just a bunch of grunts on the ground duking it out is dust filled landscapes.
It’s also worth noting that purchasing the “Legacy Edition” of the game will get you an digital copy of CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE REMASTERED which is exactly what it sounds like. Seeing how MODERN WARFARE was arguably the most popular game in the franchise, this will likely be a huge deal for fans.
CALL OF DUTY: INFINITE WARFARE will release on November 4th 2016.
