Summer 2015 needs to be here. Now.
After getting the announcement of who will be playing Ultron, the next Big Bad for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the announcement teaser for Marvel’s THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, has hit the Web. Granted, the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2012 superhero epic hasn’t started filming yet, but that doesn’t mean Marvel-ites can’t get jazzed about this short kick-ass piece of promo (first shown at Comic-Con 2013). Check it out below:

A simple, but effective announcement. It looks as though Ultron might retain his classic look from the comics. The transformation of the Iron Man helmet into his head does make me ponder about how they are going to bring about this character in the film. Is he a rogue Stark A.I. that turns on his former master (sort of an “anti-J.A.R.V.I.S.”)? In the comics, Ultron was originally created by Hank Pym a.k.a. Ant-Man. With Pym set to have his own movie, directed by Edgar Wright (THE WORLD’S END), after the release of AGE OF ULTRON, I’m curious to see how (or even if) the two will tie-in to each other.
Marvel’s THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is scheduled to be released May 1, 2015!
