ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY Celebration Reel Amazes!

Thanks to the currently underway STAR WARS CELEBRATION in the UK, we get a pretty amazing and epic look at the upcoming ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY via the above “Celebration Reel”. There is a lot of fan service here showcasing a lot of the main cast, tons of creatures, a great look at some vehicles, some cool new landscapes, and it’s basically a few minutes of awesome to further excite us all for this film. And yes, it felt very Starwarsy.

Director Gareth Edwards gives a lot of commentary here further solidifying him as the man for the job. It’s most evident that he is approaching this as a genuine fan who wants to help create something familiar yet unique. And the lack of green screen in these shots was appreciated. It really looked like a massive set that was basically a big playground for a bunch of big kids. So cool.

ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY land December 16th, 2016 and that’s just too damn far away yet so close! Bah!
