RATCHET & CLANK / Insomniac Games, Sony
Alright, so let’s just say that RATCHET & CLANK is a remake to keep things simple. Otherwise I’d have to say that RATCHET & CLANK on PS4 is a game based on a movie coming out in Spring 2016 that is based on the already established and popular franchise but should not be confused with the HD remake as part of the RATCHET & CLANK collection on PS3. Umm, like I said, it’s a remake. Those new to the franchise are in for a real treat because this game looks glorious running on the PS4. But fear not fans who played the original (and HD remake) because this edition looks to be jam-packed with everything you love about the series. Super polished and detailed graphics complimented by the humor you have come to expect and the fluid gameplay featuring a gaggle of insanely awesome weapons are all here. Basically what you need to know is that this game is going to be awesome and Insomniac games never fails to deliver fun, fast, and memorable games! Seeing them put their attention back on RATCHET & CLANK is something to get excited about.
RATCHET & CLANK (PS4) is being released in Spring 2016 (no official date yet) to coincide with the arrival of the feature film of the same name due out April 29th 2016. Here’s a little about the game from Sony along with the trailer featuring some smooth looking gameplay footage:
