If you are anything like me and missed the San Diego Comic-Con this year, you were extremely jealous to hear that attendees got the first look of Zack Snyder’s (WATCHMEN, 300) upcoming MAN OF STEEL starring Henry Cavill (IMMORTALS). Well you can rest easy knowing that the first ever teaser trailer has been released online and is attached to copies of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES in theaters as well. Enough blabbing! Wow! This is just fantastic! MAN OF STEEL is easily my most anticipated film of 2013. I am a huge fan of Snyder’s work and absolutely loved Cavill in IMMORTALS last year. I really dig the darker and more helpless tone this film seems to be offering and I see a lot of comparisons in visual style to Terrence Malick’s film TREE OF LIFE. That’s a good thing! I know we live in a time where reboots, remakes, and sequels are everywhere, but I truly believe that the Superman franchise is in some serious need of some new life and energy.
