Official Superman Reboot Title Revealed as well as Main Villain!

Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman reboot will now officially be called MAN OF STEEL.

On top of that cool news we get word that under appreciated actor Michael Shannon (HBO’s BOARDWALK EMPIRE, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD) has been cast as General Zod who will be the main villain in the upcoming Reboot. What a fantastic choice! I am very fond of Shannon’s work on HBO’s BOARDWALK EMPIRE and I believe he will be perfect for this big role. Here are a few words from Snyder:

Snyder: “Zod is not only one of Superman’s most formidable enemies, but one of the most significant because he has insights into Superman that others don’t. Michael is a powerful actor who can project both the intelligence and the malice of the character, making him perfect for the role.”
