New SANDMAN Story Announced

San Diego Comic Con is upon us once again and I am exuberant over Neil Gaiman’s announcement of a new SANDMAN story for VERTIGO comics. According to Gaiman, the story will focus on the events immediately preceding the beginning of Gaiman’s original SANDMAN series and is set to be released in 2013, 25 years after the launch of the first series. The new story will be drawn by J.H. Williams (PROMETHEA) who’s style is perfect for the franchise. I am a huge fan of Neil Gaiman and absolutely love the SANDMAN books. I can’t wait to see and read this missing piece of the story. Check out the official announcement below:
