Plenty of set photos have been made available online since the production of the recently re-named TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES remake hit the streets of NYC.  And although none of the Radical Reptiles are featured (since they’re being brought to life via CGI), we’re treated to some shots of their supporting human cast.

First up, a shot of the film’s new logo on one of the production chairs courtesy of meganfoxworld.net:

Next up, some shots of a redheaded Megan Fox (THIS IS 40) in Gramercy Park as TMNT ally April O’Neil doing what appears to be a fitness piece for Channel 6 News:

And for those fanboys out there who were worried, fear not!  The yellow jumpsuit is back…sorta:

Will Arnett (MEN IN BLACK 3) was also on set.  And thanks to an enlarged photo courtesy of Superhero Hype, we’re given a peek at his character’s name on a reporter’s ID badge:

A bit blurry, but his last name looks to be “Fen-something.”  And Arnett is seen throughout many of the set photos handling camera equipment and exchanging some banter with Fox.  As any diehard 80’s Turtle cartoon fan knows, April is often paired-up on assignments with her cameraman, the cowardly and egotistical Vernon Fenwick.  This would be Vernon’s first appearance in any other TMNT-related media outside of the original animated series and I think Arnett is a brilliant choice to portray the petty and conniving ways of April’s journalistic rival.

Well, there you have it, folks! Looks like Producer Michael Bay (PAIN & GAIN) and Director Jonathan Liebesman (WRATH OF THE TITANS) have settled firmly in the “Mutant” camp for the Turtles’ origins with the new logo.  And although she’s not the first person that comes to mind when I think “April O’Neil,” Megan Fox looks okay so far (and it’s fun to see the yellow outfit back in some way, shape or form).  Without a doubt, I’m looking forward to seeing if Will Arnett’s take on Vernon is going to be more the cowardly version or a smug jackass out to annoy and one-up April.

Fox and Arnett will be sharing the screen with a new group of Heroes in a Half-Shell realized through motion-capture performances: Alan Ritchson (SMALLVILLE) as Raphael, Pete Ploszek (PARKS & RECREATION) as Leonardo, Jeremy Howard (ACCEPTED) as Donatello, Noel Fisher (BATTLE: LOS ANGELES) as Michelangelo and Danny Woodburn (SEINFELD) as Master Splinter.  No news yet on who the main villains will be or who is playing them.  The synopsis on IMDB suggests an alien threat that inadvertently spawns the mutant heroes, so that possibly narrows it down to Dimension X warlord Krang.  But you never know: Shredder may still pop up to cause trouble!
