Back in June NERD posted the first trailer (HERE) for the Brad Bird (THE IRON GIANT, THE INCREDIBLES) directed film MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL and it kicked ass! Check out that post for more cast, crew, and plot information.
It is also worth noting that GHOST PROTOCOL shot about a half hour worth of action scenes using natively shot IMAX. This is similar to what Christopher Nolan did with THE DARK KNIGHT. Thanks to Paramount Pictures, about 15 minutes of these IMAX shots were shown to selected members of the press and it sounds like it was simply amazing. The buzz surrounding these action shots is full of widespread joy. Personally, I can not wait to get my ass to an IMAX theatre to see this movie kick every one’s ass! When 3D call, I tell my mom I’m not home. When IMAX calls, I get my scrawny nerd ass to an IMAX theatre and gladly thrown any extra fees at the cashiers face as I gleefully run into the theatre to find the perfect seat.
