I really like that we live in a time where longtime screen rivals Sylvester Stallone (RAMBO Series) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (TERMINATOR Series) are teaming up to deliver bad ass action movie experiences to their fans. Watching these two men, along with a horde of others, battle it out in THE EXPENDABLES 2 was unbelievably awesome! There is simply no denying that these two men are action movie icons and seeing them onscreen together is a dream come true! Their latest project together is a break-out-of-prison flick directed by Mikael Hafstrom (DERAILED) where the two must join forces to make it out of a high security prison alive. While this does not look exactly like the team-up movie I wanted to see, it does look like it could be good fun. Now that Stallone and Schwarzenegger have returned in their individual action flicks earlier this year with BULLET TO THE HEAD and THE LAST STAND respectively, we can get down to business and watch these two bloody some faces together again. It will be interesting to see how this one pans out.
