Well it’s official, the final title for the newest STAR WARS film directed by J.J. Abrams was announced by Lucasfilm today and it’s called…
STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS.
And ya know, I kinda like it. And even thought the force has already been awake, I think it’s great that “The Force” gets to be in one of the subtitles. It just makes sense. And I suppose STAR WARS: THE FORCE REAWAKENS just doesn’t sound as cool.
Principal photography has recently wrapped and now the long process of editing and adding special effects and sound is upon us. The old rumor mill suggest that a teaser trailer will be releasing in the near future and I’m sure this announcement is just the beginning of many. I would love to be the movie that gets dibs on the first trailer for this film as it will likely boost ticket sales just for the trailer alone.
