I’m so very happy to see the return of Nic Pizzolatto’s atmospheric crime drama TRUE DETECTIVE return to HBO. Season 1 of TRUE DETECTIVE is quite possibly the greatest season of television I’ve ever seen. And while season 2 stumbled a little, it was still better than most TV shows out there these days.
This new trailer featuring actor Mahershala Ali looks like a return to form, and definitely something to look forward to. It’s been about 4 years since season 2, and I’m absolutely ready for another round of this stellar series. While the overall plot is still a bit mysterious, I’m already sold!
