Sources told Hollywood Reporter that 20th Century Fox has agreed to shoot the sequel to X-MEN: FIRST CLASS this January, which in turn, will allow star Jennifer Lawrence (WINTER’S BONE) to also film a sequel to THE HUNGER GAMES which has made her Hollywood’s hottest female actor at the moment. Lawrence, who plays Mystique in FIRST CLASS, signed on for an X-MEN sequel before she won the role of Katniss Everdeen in THE HUNGER GAMES. The two franchise’s shooting schedules looked like they were going to clash and Lawrence may have had to choose one project over the other. However, a January start date for the FIRST CLASS sequel will give miss Lawrence plenty of time to be a part of both projects.

Nerds across the globe can breath a sigh of relief knowing that not only will there officially be a FIRST CLASS sequel, but that Lawrence will continue to star in the X-MEN movies and THE HUNGER GAMES sequels.

All I really want to know now is if Cyclops will be properly introduced in the next X-MEN movie and get the bad ass screen treatment he deserves!
