Today we get our first “official” look at Warner Bros. new THUNDERCATS cartoon that will be airing on WB’s own Cartoon Network. The new series will air sometime in 2011, but an official date has yet to be confirmed.
I consider myself a pretty big fan (not die hard) of the original series and toy line. I am excited to see this new series being developed for fans and newcomers alike. I dig the new anime inspired style that is obviously reminiscent of NARUTO. In any case I think this new pic of the main four characters (Lion-O, Panthro, Cheetara, and Tygra) is pretty sweet and I can’t wait to see all the character designs for the rest of the cast, especially Mumm-Ra!
