Starz’s AMERICAN GODS and FX’s FARGO Season 3 Get Premiere Dates

The highly anticipated TV adaptation of Neil Gaimen’s AMERICAN GODS novel will officially premiere on April 30th, 2017 on Starz. The series will run for 8 episodes.

I read the original novel a few years ago based on a recommendation by our very own Sean Wheeler. If you haven’t read it yet, it’s a great read. I can’t wait to see how the battles between old and new gods get adapted as a TV series. Besides being a fan of the novel, I will say that I was sold once I heard it will be on Starz able to fully embrace its mature themes. And of course having Ian McShane involved is just perfect.

It’s also been revealed that FX’s 3rd season of their hit show FARGO will be premiering April 19th, 2017. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the first two season of this show, and can’t wait for more. This new season is set in 2010 and stars Obi-Wan himself Ewan McGregor as a pair of twins. Showrunner¬†Noah Hawley is fantastic,¬†and his other show LEGION has been quite good so far.

Two great shows to look forward to in 2017. Lucky us.

Jason Furie

I love to write, draw, and create sketch comedy videos. Tom Cruise is my favorite actor by far, Cyclops from the X-Men is the coolest, the Berserk manga and anime kicks ass, and nothing beats a good Zelda adventure. If I could have one wish, it would be for Falcor from The Neverending Story to whisk me away to paradise.
