MASS EFFECT 3 is upon us and gamers around the world should be getting very excited. The newest promotional trailer to hit television screens and the web is a live-action short titled “Fight” that emphasizes war on planet Earth. The MASS EFFECT series has never brought players Earth-side and it is something longtime fans have been anticipating for a long time now. I have personally played, and highly enjoyed, the first two MASS EFFECT games and consider them to be some of the best this generation has to offer. This series really sets a standard for quality and has given gamers one of the most immersive science fiction experiences gaming has ever offered. On top of that, players have crafted their own unique hero and have made unique decisions throughout the first two games that strongly impact the events of the story. Some chose the path of light while others dark, supporting characters have lived or died depending on decisions made, and the impact of some key decisions in the narrative will come to fruition in this third and final act. Basically, MASS EFFECT 3 is going to kick ass. Here is a brief plot synopsis:

Mass Effect 3 will follow from the events of the Mass Effect 2 DLC expansion Arrival and follows Commander Shepard’s mission to save the galaxy from the Reapers by rallying civilizations of the galaxy together, while also having to deal with Cerberus (human survivalist group), who have decided to turn against him/her.

People who have been playing this game since the beginning are in for a real treat. I have invested countless hours into this series and it has been a complete joy to play. MASS EFFECT 3 is easily the most anticipated game of 2012 for me. MASS EFFECT 3 will be released on March 6th 2012 nationwide for the X-Box 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Also, don’t forget to check out the full demo on X-Box Live and/or the Playstation Network right now! Check out the latest live-action trailer below.

Jason Furie

I love to write, draw, and create sketch comedy videos. Tom Cruise is my favorite actor by far, Cyclops from the X-Men is the coolest, the Berserk manga and anime kicks ass, and nothing beats a good Zelda adventure. If I could have one wish, it would be for Falcor from The Neverending Story to whisk me away to paradise.
